Deer Processing Course – October

Another successful deer processing course has been and gone!

With the weather gods playing nice (despite the forecasted rain) we headed down to the hut at Balangown Hunting to spend the morning learning how to dress and process deer.

Each time we do one of these courses, we are looking for ways to improve – this time, incorporating the culinary skill of Jason McGeorge – while we were cutting, he was cooking – turning out a phenomenal lunch and explaining the process all the way.

Many thanks to the participants, it was good to see a wide range of skill levels – from guys who had been hunting for years, to those who are yet to put down an animal.
