It’s important to setup in the most stable position available to you when shooting out far. The more solid the position, the less your point of aim will drift and the more accurate and repeatable your shots will be.
For shooting prone (and off surfaces) a bipod is the tried and tested method of solidifying your setup.
A bipod provides significant stability along two axes of motion (side-to-side, and up-and-down). And the word Bipod comes from the Latin and Greek roots bi and pod, meaning “two” and “foot, or feet” respectively.
A tripod is a portable three-legged frame, used as a platform for supporting the weight and maintaining the stability of some other object. A tripod provides stability against downward forces and horizontal forces and movements about horizontal axes. The positioning of the three legs away from the vertical centre allows the tripod better leverage for resisting lateral forces.
The Bi and Tri systems we have available combine the latest in materials and technology with some tested engineering principles.
